Submission Only, Renzo Gracie Academy’nin Türkiye'deki ilk ve tek temsilcisidir. Çağımızın en önemli hocalarından John Danaher’in ekolünü takip eden akademimiz, bünyesinde hem amatör hem de profesyonel sporcular barındırıyor.
1996 yılında ABD’nin New York kentinde kurulan Renzo Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, günümüzde sporcu yetiştiren en saygın akademilerden biri. Baş antrenör Renzo Gracie, BJJ’nin kurucularından Carlos Gracie’nin torunu olup, BJJ’nin ve MMA’nın gelişiminde büyük emekler sarf etmiş, bu yolda önemli başarılar elde etmiştir.
Renzo Gracie Academy’den yetişmiş en önemli figür kuşkusuz John Danaher’dir. Geliştirdiği tekniklerle modern jiu-jitsu’da milat oluşturan yetenekli hoca, kurduğu takımında dünyanın en iyi sporcularına sahiptir desek yanlış olmaz.
Tecrübeli hocanın tedrisatından geçenler arasında jiu-jitsu devi Gordon Ryan, Garry Tonon, Chris Weidman ve George St. Pierre gibi isimleri sayabiliriz.
Türkiye’de Renzo Gracie ve John Danaher’in geleneğini temsil eden Submission Only, Danaher’in jiu-jitsu sistemini içselleştirip öğrencilerine aktarmaya çalışmakla kalmıyor; akademi, güncel teknikleri ve gelişmeleri takip ederek, yeni sporcu neslinin yetişmesine katkıda bulunmaya da çabalıyor.

Having the experience of training at 5 different gyms in Istanbul. I'll rate submission only as the best option, the instructors are young but proficient. What makes the real difference amongst others in my opinion. Is that the guys here are genuinely passionate about the sport. The Hanay brothers, posses the fury a combat sport athlete needs to advance. Without doubt 10 years from now on their consistency and dedication will pay its dividends. Good quality rolls and beautiful interior design. Worth a visit !

One of the best Brazilian Jiu Jitsu academies in Istanbul. Owners/ coaches are very friendly and knowledgeable. No wonder they keep winning all the trophies 😃👏💪 but the most Important is that they know how to teach and pass the knowledge on. The gym is always clean and tidy, mats are of good quality too. Love to train there or visit for open mat where everyone is welcome.

I’m training at Submission Only with Yigit, Kaan , Okan and the team. The tuition is detailed and the trainers explain in detail every technique. The session starts off with a warm up run, different Jiu Jitsu warm up drills and then a specific drill such as open guard attack and defense.Then provisional rolling where you enhance your jiu Jitsu under the guidance of the trainers. Then some rolling. At the end of each class one is Saturated in perspiration. Great way to drop weight. The Submission Only team are friendly, helpful, know their jiu Jitsu and if you really want to learn about No Gi development, then Do Not Hesitate to train here, a great bunch of people who love Jiu Jitsu. I came from Australia.
